Sable & Stone Branding

Objective
Sable & Stone, an artisan fragrance brand specialising in handmade massage oils and perfumes in the Cotswolds, needed a complete rebrand following the inability to trademark their original name. The goal was to create a new logo and brand identity that communicated a sense of welcoming luxury, professionalism, and accessibility, while also reflecting the quality of their ingredients and craftsmanship. The design needed to embody not just their products but also the experience, connection to nature, and family heritage behind the brand.

Solution
After confirming the name Sable & Stone, we developed a versatile logo system that could adapt to various applications. The design included a fully stacked logo, a left-aligned logo, and two emblems, ensuring flexibility for use across products and branding materials. This approach allowed seamless application on everything from bottle caps to labels, maintaining consistency and elegance across all touchpoints.

We used the serif typeface Relight to infuse the logo with a sense of timeless elegance and luxury. The typeface, combined with thoughtful design elements, conveyed the premium quality of the products while maintaining an inviting and approachable aesthetic. The logo’s subtle nod to nature and craftsmanship tied beautifully into the brand’s values, creating a cohesive identity that resonated with Sable & Stone’s ethos.
